Hosted by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, this workshop is intended to help IT-focused companies that have been in business for at least two years get involved in GSA schedules. The GSA schedules program is the premier acquisition vehicle in government, with approximately $50 billion a year in spending - 10 percent of overall federal procurement spending. To RSVP, email

and confirmation will be sent to you to reserve your seat. The instructor, a small business owner, will take participants through an intensive developmental program for all levels of businesses. During the workshop, participants will explore proven practices to get on the GSA schedule, which is a complex and intricate process that can take between 8 and 9 months, or longer depending on the complexity of your product or service. The workshop will walk participants through the required steps along the way, including obtaining a DUNS number, using SAM.gov, learning the ORCA system, getting SBA certification, learning the GSA Advantage system, using open ratings, and learning what an E-Offer Digital Certificate can do for a small business. During the workshop, participants will receive extensive feedback on your current work. Participants will also get lessons on negotiating with the GSA on prices and scopes for their company. It is estimated that there are about 19,000 companies with GSA contracts through the GSA schedule. Approximately 40 percent of GSA schedule contractors win government business. To RSVP, email
