The New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) will be accepting Statements of Qualifications for the following professional services:
 
SURVEYING SERVICES
NOAB Project No. 5-10-2-2009-01
 
Project Description
NOAB is requesting submittal of Qualifications Statements from qualified firms or groups of firms interested in performing surveying services at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (LANOIA). 
 
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Requirements
The NOAB encourages and actively seeks submittals from DBE firms desiring to provide the services as required under this RFQ. DBE firms participating in the project must be certified by the State of Louisiana's Unified Certification Program (LA UCP) at the time of submittal. Participating DBE firms must perform a commercially useful function, as defined in 49 CFR part 26. Currently certified firms can be viewed on the LA UCP website at www.laucp.org/UCP/UCPSearch.aspx.  Use the drop down menus to search by Certifying Agency, Parish, City, Type of Service or Type of Work.
 
Firms planning to apply as DBEs that are not currently LA UCP certified must submit completed applications to Philistine Ferrand, LANOIA's DBE Liaison Officer by 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2009.  Submission of a completed application does NOT guarantee that certification will be issued on or before the proposal due date.  DBE certification application can be obtained from the LA UCP website at www.laucp.org/UCP/UCPdownloads.aspx.  Questions related to DBE requirements are to be directed to Ms. Philistine Ferrand, DBE Liaison Officer by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Pre-Submittal Conference
A pre-submittal conference concerning this RFQ will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Airport Board Room. Staff will be available at this meeting to answer questions about this RFQ. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
