SubFair Information:

CORE Construction will be holding a SubFair on Friday, August 24^th 2012.  All subcontractors interested in bidding the job are welcome to attend at anytime between the hours of 11AM – 2PM.  Any MBE and Section 3 firms are strongly encouraged to take this opportunity to discuss your scope of work, get prequalified, meet the project team, and review our subcontractor documents.

Project Description:

CORE Construction has been selected as the construction manager for the Trio at Encore project.  Permit set drawings have been issued and will be the basis for final subcontractor pricing.  Subcontractor selections will be made based on this pricing.  Financing for the project has been secured and construction will be starting in early October.

The project consists of a total of 141 apartment units with one 6-story CIP concrete building and two 4-story podium buildings with 3 floors of wood-frame structure over one floor of CIP concrete parking. In addition, there will be a single-level elevated precast concrete parking deck.

Please be advised that the following special conditions will apply to this project (bid packages will contain more details):

1.   Minority Business Enterprise participation is required.

2.    HUD Section 3 – Section 3 participation is required.

3.    Davis-Bacon wages and certified payroll will apply.

4.    Buy American requirements will apply.

5.    The project will be seeking LEED certification.
