Reflections on the 20th Annual Convention Words cannot fully express the excitement, camaraderie, networking and content that was exhibited at the 20th Annual Convention of the National Black Chamber of Commerce. Participants from Botswana, Kenya, France, Italy and other international places came and joined with their American counterparts. Deals were being made during the three day historical event. Many thanks to those of you who participated in this momentous event. We will carry this momentum into Trinidad next week at the International African Diaspora Summit. Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan has confirmed his attendance. From there we go to Equatorial Guinea and meet dignitaries and entrepreneurs from every nation in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our trade mission to Ethiopia will occur in mid-September. During November 15 – 17, 2012 we will launch the PanAfrican Entrepreneurs Conference. May God bless us again in the same fashion that He did when we started the National Black Chamber of Commerce back in 1993. www.panafricanec.org. We will close out the year with a trade mission to Zambia. This nation is proving to be able to process RFP’s with expediency and that opens the door for much opportunity for our members. Kay and I want to thank our Board of Directors and staff for producing a 13 minute video on the history and evolution of the NBCC. It is something we want all of you to see as it brilliantly describes just what our philosophy and mission are. It hasn’t been easy but it certainly has been worth it. God is great! Here is the video. Love, Peace and Prosperity,
